The Bhavani talwar is the most storied weapon of the Maratha Empire. Tradition holds that Goddess Bhavani herself blessed the blade, making it a symbol of divine sanction for Swarajya. The sword exemplifies the fine curved talwars favoured by Maratha cavalry.
